In May 1993, Air Force Capt Elsa Bruno received orders to the Joint Defense Facility Nurrangar in Woomera, South Australia. She and her husband, Tom, left their kitties with a friend in Colorado Springs and moved to Australia, arriving in Jun 93. Woomera was a small town of about 1000 people in the middle of the Australian Outback.
